Question 1: Is SEO (Search Engine Optimization) really that difficult?

The answer is that SEO is not as difficult as people think. The short of it is to ensure that the information that is relative to your audience is clearly communicated in all the important places/pages on your site. And, that you use the words that your audience is searching for.

Question 2: I have optimized my Meta Tags and Keywords, how long does it take to rank better?

Good question. The bots run out daily, even hourly checking sites, but only the most trafficed sites. Ones with less frequnt traffic are checked less. Be sure to keep the tag triggering bots to recheck every 4 days or so. It may take a few days or even weeks for gooblebot or SLURP (the Yahoo bot) to visit your site this time around.

Question 3: Does link popularity just increase on it's own?

Yes and no. You need to work at it, but only trade links or request links from people you deem worthy. Yes, we are suggesting being a little critical, because bad links can actually hurt your site.
